8:00 am: Depart from hotels

9:00 am-1:00 pm: Special program in southern Israel – TBD

Meet students and communities in the south of Israel. Tour kibbutzim and nearby towns: Netivot, Sederot, Ofakim. Meet and talk with municipal and regional officials, along with HU students who live or serve in the south.

1:00-2:00 pm: Lunch at a kibbutz with the local community

2:00-4:00 pm: University Management Plenary:

  • Report of the President, Prof. Asher Cohen

  • Panel moderated by a lay leader of a Friend’s Association, along with VPs: Yishai Fraenkel, Amb. Yossi Gal, Prof. Mona Khoury, Prof. Oron Shagrir

  • Rector’s Report, Prof. Tamir Sheafer

4:00 pm: Depart for Jerusalem (arrive at hotels ~5:30 pm)
